On October 28, President Obama signed the Hate Crimes Prevention Act into law, representing a historic milestone in the march towards equality for all Americans. The Act is the first major piece of civil rights legislation to protect LGBT people – and M+R has helped the Human Rights Campaign fight for it through award-winning campaigns since 2007. It took over one million emails, faxes and phone calls to Congress from HRC supporters to pass the bill!
M+R has helped HRC realize this success through integrated campaigns that featured innovative viral videos, text messaging, rigorous testing and data analysis, and much more. Since we started working together, M+R has helped HRC recruit nearly 300,000 new online supporters and raise substantially more money online.
