Here are the big things you should know:
1. Scout Quest is different from other data co-ops. We respect your supporters’ privacy and don’t share access to your email file with other groups! Scout Quest provides donation patterns and email deliverability insights about people already on your email file.
2. Scout Quest works. On our webinar, we shared stories like Feeding America seeing a 681% ROI in just four months from Scout Quest-identified reactivations, plus an additional 540 new mid-level donors. Or Amnesty International reactivating 8,000 supporters, tripling their investment. Or League of Conservation Voters receiving $211,429 in two years from donors who were previously marked inactive for LCV but were active for other groups.
3. Scout Quest continues to grow to include new features. We rolled out something ✨brand new ✨for this fall cohort — EOY donor flags, which will allow groups to identify prime targets for EOY campaigns. We’ve also recently added opener data, direct mail data, and alternate active email addresses.
4. Participating now is the best and only way to get your sweet Scout Quest data in time for your year-end campaigns. Here’s the timeline:
- September 5: confirm participation. (You can see the participation agreement here!)
- September 19: data submissions due. (Here’s what you’ll be asked to submit!)
- October 13: data summary dashboards delivered to participants
- October 27: deadline to decide what data to purchase (in order to receive data ahead of EOY)
- November 7: all data delivered and Facebook advertising audiences become available
