From generating widespread international media coverage on behalf of the Save Darfur Coalition‘s “Divest for Darfur” campaign, to promoting “Dollars for Darfur” on The Martha Stewart Show, M+R’s communications team has helped heighten awareness and advance the effort to end the genocide in Darfur since M+R began working with the Coalition in 2005.

For example, when the Save Darfur Coalition staged a Global Day for Darfur on September 17, 2006, M+R helped plan the centerpiece rally in New York City and events in 41 other countries. Our communications team then coordinated day-of press outreach and vigorously promoted the event through earned and paid media. National and international media covered the event extensively, with print and broadcast stories reaching tens of millions around the world, from a front-page, above-the-fold lead photo in The New York Times to live coverage on CNN and FOX.
