Hey there!

Are you coming to this year’s Nonprofit Technology Conference?

We are heading to Minneapolis this week and we’d love to say hello!

First, you really don’t want to miss our afternoon break at 3pm on Friday, April 12th outside the Grande Ballroom. Root beer floats, gummy mustaches, hats, the 2013 Benchmarks report, and more surprises are in store…

And, of course, come heckle us at the following sessions:

2013 eNonprofit Benchmarks (#13NTCBench)
Join M+R Strategic Services and NTEN as we unveil the 2013 eNonprofit Benchmarks Study, which crunches numbers from 55 leading nonprofits. Get the story behind the numbers in the study, see if your organization is leading the way or getting left behind, and find out how you can use this data to transform your organization’s work in 2013 and beyond. With M+R’s Madeline Stanionis, Friday from 1:30 – 3:00pm in Marquette I.

I Could Be Your Next Monthly Donor, So Call Me, Maybe? (#13NTCDonor)
When it comes to wooing potential monthly donors, you sometimes have to play games. Do I call? Send a casual email? How soon? Mercy Corps and Doctors Without Borders/MSF have spent years figuring out how to recruit, retain, and upgrade monthly donors, and they’ll share what’s working for us, and what has been a waste of time and money. With M+R’s Michael Ward, Mercy Corps’ Annalise Briggs, and Doctors Without Borders’ Amanda Clayton, Friday from 1:30 – 3:00pm in Marquette VII.

Multichannel Mythbusters (#13NTCMulti)
Multichannel donors are gold but some tactics will only lead to gravel. This session summarizes a year spent digging deep into multichannel fundraising, and we’ll share some surprising tales with you of what worked — as well as what we thought would work but didn’t — to help you decide exactly which multichannel tactics make sense for your organization and which ones are a black hole of resources. With M+R’s Madeline Stanionis, Friday from 10:30am – 12:00pm in Conrad B.

A Deep Dive Into Paid Acquisition ROI: Analysis and Case Studies (#13NTCROI)
Looking to maximize the value of your online recruits? This session is for organizers spending acquisition dollars across channels and vendors and others who want to learn the best practices and strategies for using data to inform communications, content, and programs. We’ll showcase how organizations track and measure the return on paid acquisition investments and what data determines strategic budgeting decisions. With M+R’s Michael Ward, League of Conservation Voters’ Vanessa Kritzer, and Change.org’s Kate Thomas, Saturday from 1:30 – 3:00pm in Marquette VIII.

What else? Let’s see…we’ll be live tweeting from the #13NTC conference and would love to get your take on various sessions (as well as our root beer floats and gummy mustaches!) at @MRCampaigns.

And, if you can’t make it to NTC but still want to know more about how your nonprofit’s data compares, join our free eNonprofit Benchmarks Study discussion on Tuesday, April 23rd via our webinar. RSVP here!

Got forgetfulness? Set a reminder of all this awesomeness, to be delivered the first morning of the conference.

Hope we see you soon!

– Madeline and Michael
